Other Works-Literary Analysis

Point Counter Point” was about the British aristocracy and it detailed some of their views on life, society and the people along with the structures within it. Aldous Huxely had ran his views and beliefs based on science, ecology, sexuality, morality, politics, art and religion, which all seven were greatly mentioned in the story. The characters of the novel proved to be unsympathetic and non-relatable. It lead a slog through a difficult terrain. The point of the novel was to compare the people to Mark and Mary Rampion who were known as the "implied protagonist couple". This was not only one of the  couples to not experiencing infidelity, but their outlook for life was a beacon that embraced one’s humanity. His message was to live naturally and do what comes to you, believeing that material wealth is not revlant to life. "Everything's incredible, if you can skin off the crust of obviousness our habits put on it. Every object and event contains within itself an infinity of depths within depths." (Line 297) An example of a quotation from the story explaining the credibilty and beauty that life maintains if we, humans took the time to witness it. The story held a life changing theme that causes us to reflect on life and to see what it has to offer and not just what we always want. It's tone is to be well defined as a nature love sense, meaning Huxely has views that we should appreciate life more than we do.
